My 3-week-old kitten has green eye discharge. Does she need a vet?

Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Female | unspayed | 14 days old

Hi I have an orphaned kitten with eye crust and when j clean it with a warm cloth there are boogers inside which appears to be green and j take it out before I feed her and Everytime she sleeps it appears again after shes done sleeping shes about 3 weeks what do I do

Eye infections are very common in young kittens, it needs to be treated with an antibiotic eye ointment, you will need to take her to the vet in order to get this ointment as it is prescription only.
