Hi my lab has a round pink patch on the side of his leg has been there for a week now it does not look like a cut

It's difficult to tell from the picture. If it is raised then it could be a benign mass like a histiocytoma or lick granuloma. It could also be a malignant mass like a mast cell tumor. If it is flat and more like a scab then it is likely a hot spot from itching/licking. You can place a cone collar to prevent any licking and put neosporin on it twice a day to see if it will heal. If not, contact your vet to see if he needs any oral antibiotics. If it is a mass I would have your vet do an exam and look at some cells under the microscope to ensure it doesn't need to be removed surgically. I hope this helps.
