My spayed cat has clear, smelly vaginal discharge. Is it serious?

My cat is fixed and a clear substance is leaking for her vagina area. It does smell bad and I cant afford to take her to the vet currently.

Your cat is probably suffering from vaginitis (vaginal infection) she will need to be treated with antibiotics, a vet visit will be necessary, if money is an issue please contact a cat charity in your area of living, they should be able to help.
