Pet's info: Dog | Pomeranian | Female | spayed | 11 years and 8 months old | 10 lbs
Hello, my dog has been sick for 3 days the first day she vomited about 6 times and was lethargic and slept most of the but she did drink a little by herself the second day she wouldn't drink or eat so we tried to keep fluids in her with a medicine syringe and was more lethargic today she drank a little. She's weak but she has pooped ok and has not vomited for the past two days. Also we were giving her pedialyte. You can now feel her bones.

It sounds as KC is suffering from a gastrointestinal condition, possibly an infection. it could also be due to ingestion of a foreign body material or some more serious systemic disease such as kidney failure or cancer. i would recommend taking her to the vet the first chance you get, she will need to be checked first, if the vet thinks it's a simple gastrointestinal infection she will need an anti vomiting injection, antibiotics and a special food for a few days in order to get better.

Hi, and thanks for your question. These signs could be compatible with an inflammation infection of the gastrointestinal system and surrounding organs (like pancreas and liver). Another clinical examination at your local veterinarian is immediately essential to confirm these clinical suspicions and treat appropriately. Antibiotics and possibly further investigations (like abdominal imaging as ultrasound or radiographs) may be needed. Hope this answer was helpful, but please do not hesitate to contact us again on the forum or by requesting a consultation if you have any more questions or to discuss it any further. Please find the time to give us a feedback about the consultation as that will be used to improve our service.

She needs to be seen by a vet immediately. Not eating, vomiting, weak and thin are very non-specific symptoms. Almost any disease or illness can cause these symptoms. There is no way we can tell you what is going on with her via the internet. She needs to be examined by a vet and she may need additional testing as well.
