My dog is holding up her front leg. Is it a sprain or something else?

Minature Pieknese dog she is acting like something is wrong with her front leg....holds up leg and acts like somthing is wrong to put pressure on it like walking

She may have sprained or bruise the leg. Have a really good look for wounds or swelling in the paw and up the leg. If there is nothing obvious wrong I would rest her 24hrs then if she's not improved visit the vet. If she's very distressed or if you find an open wound or bad swelling go to the vet asap.
