Pet's info: Cat | American Shorthair | Male | neutered | 7 years and 1 month old
My male cat, 7 years old has diarrhea x 2 days. The second day there was a "spray" of diarrhea on tbe wall behind the liter box when he had a bowel movement. His bm are a thick liquid consistency. I cant rule out that he didnt get into food in my daughter's room or dog food. He still has his appetite and otherwise appears healthy. Should I bring him to my local vet or try a bland diet?

As long as he's not vomiting and is acting fine and drinking water, you can try a bland diet. I recommend either boiled chicken, scrambled eggs, or low fat cottage cheese. If that doesn't help to improve his diarrhea or you notice vomiting, lethargy, etc. he should be seen by a veterinarian.
