We calculated our dogs weight wrong and have given her more than the recommended feeding amount. Would this be harmful for her? She's a miniature schnauzer and we possibly fed her a couple tablespoons over...

A larger than expected amount of canned pumpkin is unlikely to have any adverse effects apart from maybe flatulance. I would recommend a probiotic/fiber supplement such as fortiflora after antibiotics however as this also helps to restore the natural gut bacteria

Well you did give her a lot of pumpkin, but this should not hurt her. How about feeding her boiled white rice with boiled white boneless chicken or turkey now over several feeds a day, Do this for two days and then slowly transition back to her regular food. If the diarrhea does not go away you will need to take her to a vet for an exam as she may have a gastrointestinal infection or is sensitive to her regular food. But, no the pumpkin will not hurt her. If you ever give her pumpkin again, a few table spoonfuls are plenty.
