I have 2-week old kittens here and I caught one of them trying to eat mama kitties dry food, is this normal? Should I start giving them wet food?

The kitten may have shown some interest but we don't normally start offering food until around 4 weeks of age, and then start with a gruel of formula and canned food. I would hold off on offering solid food for a couple more weeks!

That is totally normal for the kitten to start to try to eat dry food. I would recommend getting some kitten food (canned and dry). You can moisten the dry food with a little warm water to make it easier for them to eat for now. You can also feed them canned food.
