My dog has a swollen eye and trouble opening her mouth. Im not sure if she has been biten or its a bang. Do you know if there is anything I can give for the pain? Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Female | spayed | 4 years and 4 months old | 54 lbs

With these signs I would be concerned Lucy could have an oral abscess causing her pain and swelling. She could also have an issue with her TMJ joint or even the tissues behind her eye. Lucy needs to see a veterinarian as soon as possible. Do not give her any human pain medication as it can be toxic to dogs. You can try to give her a gruel of her normal food to lap up as it may be easier for her to eat that way.
