My dog ate a brownie. Should I be worried about chocolate toxicity?

In most dogs of this size one brownie ingested will not cause any toxic effects unless it was made with large amounts of dark chocolate or had marijuana inside. It is possible some GI upset can occur, as with any new/unusual food, such as vomiting or diarrhea. Symptoms of concern would include hyperactivity, trembling/tremors/seizures, rapid heart rate,, or seizures. These can be seen with chocolate toxicity (but as I said, not expected at this dose) and if they occur you need to see the veterinarian right away.
