My senior dog has hives, won't eat, but is active. What to do?

Pet's info: Dog | Labrador Retriever | Male | unneutered | 9 years and 7 months old | 40 lbs

Hi I have a 10yr old lab..he's developed hives around his stomach area and legs and head, he's also lost his appetite, but still enjoying going for a walk...any advice would be appreciated..many thanks

This is probably an allergic reaction due to an insect bite or a plant outside. those reactions tend to resolve within 48 hours without treatment. if the swelling becomes too large or if your dog is lethargic and lost his appetite, take Sam to the vet in order to get an antihistamine injection.
