My dog has flakey black spots near his penis. What could it be?

Pet's info: Dog | Pekingese | Male | neutered | 6 years and 7 months old | 13 lbs

My dog has these 2 black spot one each side of his penis one I was able to scratch off the other one is kinda flakey And half of it is still attached but he also has these really tiny speckle of black dots around them

This is kind of an unusual lesion, and it looks like a very mild infection of some kind. As long as Rusty isn't scratching or licking at this excessively, I think you can gently wash the area with some mild soap and warm water, and monitor for changes for the next couple of days. If it resolves, great; if not, or if additional lesions develop, consult your vet for skin testing to determine what is causing this, and appropriate treatments.
