My vet says SQ for Adequan, but packaging says IM. Which is best?

Hello! I am starting my dog on Adequan today. My vet said the injection is subcutaneous but the packaging Adequan came in and the material on Adequans website also says it should be administered IM. I'm looking for a second opinion here, does Subcutaneous injection not work? Pet's info: Dog | American Pit Bull Terrier | Male | neutered | 80 lbs

I typically have people give the injections subcutaneously at home even though the packaging recommends intramuscular since a subcutaneous injection is easier to administer. Most veterinarians feel it works just as well. I would follow your veterinarians recommendation.
