Our 2 year old heading dog has just been diagnosed with a flea allergy, we've only had him a week and is still in a bad way as he wasn't treated for it before we got him. Is there anything else other than the medication he has which will help him heal/feel better?

I'm not sure the medication you are currently using. But he should be on a good flea preventative of course (in my experience the oral products have been working well lately). If the fleas are gone but he is still itchy talk to his vet about adding in a medication for itchiness - there are several options here and your vet can advise you on the best one for Ned. A cool bath with oatmeal shampoo may also help soothe his skin (as long as you haven't applied a topical flea medication in past two days ).

I'm not sure what medications he is on, obviously he should have been given flea treatment, but if the condition is bad he probably also need a steroid injection and a course of antibiotic to help him healing faster.
