When should 1-month-old kittens get vaccinated to avoid sickness?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Hello. I've got three kittens, they're around 1mth. When shall we bring them for necessary vaccinations? Can we bring them later or it's possible that they transfer or get some sickness? Thank you

Hello and congratulations on your kittens! We normally start vaccines around 8 weeks of age in most pets. They being said, it is certainly ok to have the kittens examined by the vet prior to this, particularly if they came from an unknown situation or the parents were outdoors. Bringing a stool sample with you can help your vet check for intestinal parasites which are common and your vet can deepen them and check to be sure they all appear healthy!
