Pet's info: Dog | Siberian Husky | Male | unneutered | 7 months and 8 days old
Our 6 month old Husky pup, Esker, has had this problem from two months back (check attachment). Have given him two Ivermectin injection since the problem started and Dr. Wallace zinc Syrup 50 mg dose from last two weeks. And now switched to zinc tablet 50 mg. Been giving him 10 mg ivermectin tablet daily from two months along with skin and coat oil that contains omega 6 and omega 3 oil. Have also started cephalaxin 300 mg once a day dose from yesterday. As per local vet, it is ZRD.

This is probably due to a severe allergy, although it could also be bacterial or fungal infection or mites. I see that your veterinarian is ruling out with treatment mite and bacterial infections. I f these treatment are inconclusive I would suggest to ask the vet to perform a skin scrape or more skin testing to diagnose underlying disease. If all of those came back negative, the next step is to treat the allergy symptomatically and try to discover the cause of the allergy. Three main type of allergies are usually affecting pets: food allergies, flea and parasite related ones and environmental type (allergens coming from trees, pollens, dust etc etc). Please do not hesitate to contact us again on the forum or by requesting a consultation if you have any more questions or to discuss it any further.
