My dog is about a year old and 2 days she just started having a runny nose (she licks it) and shes doing a reverse sneeze a few times a day. Now today I noticed she has a little bit of mucus coming out of her nose. Shes acting normal and is eating.

Bailey's symptoms may have several causes including allergies, infection or even foreign body in her nose. Have her examined by your veterinarian for a diagnosis. If the mucus is green or yellow, there could be infection. Allergies can be frustrating to diagnose since they have so many causes (inhaled, contact, food sensitivities, etc.). Allergies can also be seasonal in nature. Antihistamines can be dispensed by your vet if indicated.

It could be that Bailey may be suffering from a respiratory infection or allergies. I would have her seen by a vet in the morning. The vet can diagnose what is causing her symptoms and can prescribe treatment for her. Tonight, if she's congested, you can try using a humidifier or bringing her into the bathroom with the door closed while you take a hot shower - the steam and humidity help to break up congestion and temporarily relieve symptoms associated with respiratory infections.
