My dog has yellow loose poop, vomiting, and tender tummy. Why?

Trick has been having tiny mucosy yellow loose poop since 2.30 am he also vomited some partially eaten food his tummy is tender he keeps burping and he is drinking a lot and still eating what could be the reason for this he hasnt changed food and he was onlead walked yesterday he does strain when he goes

Poor Trick! He could have eaten something rotten, may have a GI illness, could have a foreign body, or could have intestinal worms. Make sure he is up to date on his deworming treatments, giving him one if he's not. I can also give you a home remedy to try to see if that helps before having to take him into the vet. Withhold food for 12-24 hours, then feed a bland diet of boiled white meat chicken (no bones) and white rice in small amounts several times a day for a couple of days. Then slowly add back in his normal diet. If the vomiting continues in the absence of food, he vomits the bland diet, diarrhea continues on the bland diet, he stops drinking water, starts vomiting water, or becomes very lethargic, he will need to see a vet right away.
