Would my dog be able to survive distemper? He had been diagnosed with distemper last January 2015 but he's still living. Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Male | neutered | 3 years old | 35.2 lbs

Yes, it is possible to survive distemper infection. There is no cure, but supportive care increases a dog's chance at survival. He may have some lasting neurologic side effects though. Since the infection was so long ago, Bruno is likely over the illness.
