Why can't my dog put weight on his back legs? What should I do?

my 3 years labrador has a problem in his back legs he cant put weight on his backlegs

Hello. If your dog cannot use his back legs at all, and it is both back legs, then this is likely a problem with the spine, which could be a herniated disc or could be a trauma (broken back). If he cannot put weight on ONE of his back legs and is holding it up, then it could be a broken bone, soft tissue injury, or more likely a ruptured cruciate tendon. I would recommend having him seen by a vet to determine if he needs surgery, or if there are medications he can have to help, and to determine exactly where the injury is. Good luck with Bruno!
