My dog's stool is purple-brown after a new supplement. Is this normal?

Hi, recent two days I notice there is a change in my dog stool Colour. From the normal brown to abit purple brown. The only thing had change is his supplement 3 days back. And I'm. It sure it cause the change in stool Colour or his not well. Pet's info: Dog | Labrador Retriever | Male | neutered | 8 years and 11 months old | 55 lbs

I see a bit of the purple brown color in his feces, and given that Sam is on a new supplement, it is possible that's the culprit of the color change. Without knowing what supplement he is on, I can't say this for certain so having him seen by a vet for a health check would be best to be safe. I would bring a sample in of his feces for the vet to examine as well.
