Poor Junior! Swelling, redness, and discharge from the eye are usually signs of an eye infection, or an injury to the eye such as a corneal scratch or ulcer. You can try gently rinsing the eye with some warm water or sterile saline to see if this helps - sometimes this can be helpful if there is a hair or other foreign body trapped under the eyelid causing irritation. If this doesn't help, then I would recommend taking Junior to the vet, as he will likely need prescription eye drops to treat the problem.
