have a stray cat since last five years Name : Mano Age : 5 years Weight : 8 lbs Colour : black and white From last 5-6 days she is shedding alot of hair and getting white patches on face and under the chin she is losing hair and her hair loss is at alarming rates and spreading very quickly Few days she also had fight with some other stray cat.did not sustain any wounds except from a small cut on her nose and chin I suppose. diet is normal. No change in activity Its fungal using lamisil. Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Female | unspayed | 4 years and 7 months old | 8 lbs

Poor cat. White patches with hair loss sounds like a possible Ringworm infection. Topical Lamisil won't work if this is truly a Ringworm infection that is spreading. Instead you need to get her a fungal pill that she needs to take for 3-4 weeks. Therefore, Mano needs to see your local vet for an exam, fungal culture to verify Ringworm, and then a prescription for anti-fungal (i.e. fluconazole, terbinafine) medication.
