Why is my senior cat suddenly weak, not eating, and mouth bleeding?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

My cat who is probably 13-16 years old has suddenly started showing signs of lethargy, weakness, wobbliness, and unstableness. She can barely walk now and just lays around. She also can't eat or drink anything. She looks like she wants to and is trying but there is also black stuff and red stuff in and coming out of her mouth. This just started like 24 hours ago

Your poor kitty sounds like she is in really rough shape! I strongly urge you to take her to an emergency veterinarian asap. She may be in organ failure, or have a tumor growing in her mouth that is oozing blood. If she is unable to walk, she is in need of medical care immediately.
