Since dogs are carnivores, do they need vegetables or veggie snacks?

Question

Since dogs are carnivores does that mean they don't technically need vegetables? should I not be feeding them as snacks? I like to feed them because they are low calorie and I always assumed they were good for them. I'm feeding my dog a half a cup of kibble per day with a 1/4 cup of canned. Both these things already contain vegetables. If I didn't include the vegetables I would be able to give he slightly more kibble. (4 grams) Would this be better? Pet's info: Dog | Cavalier King Charles Spaniel | Female | spayed | 4 years and 9 months old | 17 lbs

You don't have to give Chloe any veggies. You can give them as an occasional snack, but her kibble will provide all the nutrients she needs to be healthy. I would cut back in the veggies and give her slightly more kibble :-)
