Hello i was looking at my dogs eyes and on his left eye the white part has started spreading into the colored portion, what is that? Pet's info: Dog | Bullmastiff | Male | 50 lbs

Hi! I think you are describing a partial prolapse of the third eyelid. Dogs have an upper and lower eyelid, like we do, and a third one, that is normally hidden away. It some times is more visible than other times, and can develop an issue with the gland that is housed inside it. You should have him checked by his vet to be sure that this is what you are seeing.
