My cat has a fever, breathing issues, and won't eat. What to do?

Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Male | unneutered | 1 year and 6 months old | 12 lbs

I took my cat to emergency room last night and they gave me amoxicillin drops. He is breathing through his mouth due to congestion in his chest. He is still running fever. is there anything i can give for fever & how much. what else can i do , he has not ate or drank in 1-2 days. pls advise asap. thk you.

THe only medication for fever in cats is Meloxicam but this needs to be given by your vet, there is nothing from a human pharmacy that is safe for cats. if he is not eating for 2 days- the amoxy drops are not enough, he will need other medications and treatment, please take him back to the vet ASAP.
