My indoor cat has a scab-like spot. Should I take him to the vet?

Has a spot that looks like a scab doesn't bother cat but I felt it and now I'm not sure if need to take him to the vet or not he's indoor cat but does go on balcony with me 4 year old neutered. Pet's info: Cat | American Shorthair | Male | neutered | 5 years and 9 months old | 14 lbs

Hello there! If the area isn't bothering him, you can probably just keep an eye on it for now. But if it looks red, swollen, has discharge, or is painful to the touch, likely a good idea to have Pippin checked out by his vet!
