My puppy has a growing patch of missing fur on his head. What is it?

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Male | unneutered | 4 months and 18 days old

My Puppy is 4 months old and we started to notice that he has a patch of missing fur on his head. It's a small patch, it looked like there was less hair on that place initially but now it is more prominent. I stay in a remote area and I don't have much experience either as he is my first pet.

There are a few reasons why a young dog like Scrappy Coco would lose a patch of fur. The list includes: demodex mites, scabies, bacterial infection, ringworm and food allergy. These conditions can all look very similiar in appearance. A veterinarian can determine the cause often times with a few simple tests or at least determine what is not causing it. I hope this helps.
