Hi my chiuauau is 9 weeks old, today he had his first vaccinations & he is now helping every time we stroke him or pick him up . Is this normal after vaccinations ? Pet's info: Dog | Chihuahua | Male | unneutered | 1 month and 21 days old | 1lb

It can be normal for puppies to be a little more painful after their vaccines, and Chihuahuas tend to be a more nervous breed and a little more sensitive after having vaccines. He should return to normal in a day or two, but if he does still appear painful after 48 hours, I would have him seen by a vet.
