If it was boneless, your dog may have some vomiting or diarrhea from getting food that s/he isn't used to. If it had bones, this is more concerning. Chicken bones are brittle and break into sharp fragments that can damage the intestinal tract as it moves through. Either way, keep an eye out for vomiting, diarrhea, lethargy, abdominal pain. If the chicken was boneless, don't give her any food for 12-24 hours so her gut can rest after such a rich meal and keep an eye on her. If she ate bones and shows any adverse symptoms, get her in to be seen by a vet right away.

Thank you for contacting Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach with your question about Sasha. Oh no, that's not good. There is a chance this could make her sick in the form of vomiting, diarrhea, nausea, and loss of appetite. If you see any of those signs, feed her a bland diet of boiled white meat chicken (no bones) and white rice in small amounts several times a day for a couple of days. Then slowly add back in her normal diet. If she refuses to eat the bland diet, she vomits the bland diet, develops diarrhea, stops drinking water, starts vomiting water, or becomes very lethargic, she will need to see a vet right away. I hope this helps!

You may see some GI upset in the form of vomiting or diarrhea within 24 hours. I would watch out for anorexia, lethargy, and blood in the poop. If you see any of those signs in addition to vomiting and diarrhea, have Kyro seen by a vet. Best of luck.
