Biography
I am a licensed veterinarian in San Diego. I started off my studies at San Diego State University where I got a B.S. in Biology (Zoology). While at SDSU I got a position at a veterinary hospital as a veterinary assistant. After three years of working as an assistant I headed to veterinary school at St. George's University in Grenada, West Indies. I finished my clinical year at Murdoch University in Perth, Australia. At both universities I was involved in wildlife/zoo medicine programs that focused on rehabilitation and husbandry.
Upon finishing my degree I moved back to San Diego in December 2014 and started work as an associate veterinarian at the very same hospital I was an assistant. I primarily see dogs and cats with the occasional exotic pet such as a reptile, bird, or small mammal.
