My male dog is aggressive to my other dog. Will neutering help?

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Small (up to 22lb) | Male | 5 years and 5 months old | 116 lbs

My dog can be super aggressive with my other male dog and it stresses me seeing him being very mean to my other dog and he is just trying to play or walk around the house and my aggressive dog would just growl at him for now reason and there is a point where he’ll attack him and they start fighting. I don’t know what to do. Would neutering gordo help?
