My dog is throwing up foam, won't eat or drink. Should I see a vet?

Hi I have a pitbull about 2 years old and I found him yesterday throwing up and it was like a fome substance he won't drink now nor eat he kinda looks confused I been trying to give him pedalight should I take him to the vet
