I hospitalized my puppy at the vet he's going on his 4th day there. He was diagnosed with parvo and at the moment they told me he is stable but he's not eating, i'm asking for a second opinion... Is this a good or bad sign? Do you think he'll make it through? Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Male | 10 months and 14 days old | 15 lbs

It is typical for them not to want to eat with parvo but you should ask the vet to put in a nasogastric tube (small tube that goes in the nose and down the into the stomach). They can then do what is called "trickle feeding" where they drip in liquid energy dog supplement (like a human Ensure type drink). Trickle feeding has shown to increase recovery.
