Why does my Husky limp on his front leg after getting up, then walk fine?

Our 2yo Siberian Husky started limping a few days ago, but only for the first several steps after getting up (favors the front left leg over the front right). He walks normally in the home after those first steps, and he walks normally, with plenty of energy, on outside walks. We recently adopted him, about a month ago. His initial vet visit was all-clear. Since adopting him, we’ve taken him for plenty of walks and sometimes jogs (up to 3 miles), but no jogging since the limp developed. Pet's info: Dog | Siberian Husky | Male | neutered | 2 years and 1 month old | 43 lbs

Limping means Mocha is in pain. I recommend resting him for the next 48 hours. No running, jumping, or playing. Take him out to toilet on a leash, and bring him right back in when he's done. If he still appears painful after this time, then I would take him into the vet for an exam. The vet can diagnose where the pain is coming from, and can dictate a treatment plan for it. He may also benefit from some pain medications, which the vet can prescribe. Please do not give him any human pain medications, as many are toxic to dogs and can be fatal if given.
