My dog's vomiting and not eating for 24 hours. What should I do?

It could be Chloe has a severe stomach illness, may have eaten something rotten,could have a foreign body, or pancreatitis. It's very concerning that she has been vomiting and not eating for the past 24 hours. I'd have her seen by a vet now to have this diagnosed and treated. I hope this helps!

I would have Chloe seen by a vet. I'm not sure if she is vaccinated or not, but if she isn't, her vomiting could be due to parvovirus. This is an often fatal infection of young unvaccinated puppies of which there is no cure. Her vomiting and anorexia could also be due to GI illness, eating something rotten, or a foreign body. I would take Chloe into a vet immediately to diagnose what is causing her symptoms so she can be treated.

Thank you for contacting Boop by Petco with your question about Ellie. Poor girl! She could have a severe stomach illness causing her symptoms, or a foreign body or pancreatitis. Given that she has been vomiting for over 24 hours, it's time to see the vet. She needs a shot to stop the vomiting, IV fluids for hydration, and any other treatment the vet deems necessary. The vet can also diagnose the cause of her vomiting. I hope this helps!

My Peke cant hold anything down, pukes up her water. Has no interest in her food and a small amount of blood in her feces. Also has a runny tummy.
It sounds as Chloe is suffering from a gastrointestinal condition, possibly an infection. it could also be due to ingestion of a foreign body material. i would recommend taking her to the vet the first chance you get, she will need to be checked first, if the vet thinks it's a simple gastrointestinal infection she will need an anti vomiting injection, antibiotics and a special food for a few days in order to get better.

Thank you for submitting your question regarding Chloe. Her symptoms have persisted long enough that it is time to see her veterinarian. I recommend having her seen today if at all possible. Vomiting for as long as she has, can leave her dehydrated. Her veterinarian will examine her and may recommend some testing to determine the source of her problems. Trratment such as fluids and anti-nausea medication will likey help her feel better. I hope this information helps!

My dog is puking it started out of no where
Thank you for contacting Boop by Petco with your question about Chloe. Oh no, poor girl! She could have a stomach illness, may have eaten something rotten, has a foreign body, pancreatitis or parvo. I can give you a home remedy for her to see if that helps. Feed her a bland diet of boiled white meat chicken (no bones) and white rice in small amounts several times a day for a couple of days. Then slowly add back in her normal diet. If she vomits the bland diet, refuses to eat the bland diet, develops diarrhea, stops drinking water, starts vomiting water, or becomes very lethargic, she will need to see a vet right away. Poor Maggie! It's concerning that she has been vomiting for couple of days now, and hasn't eaten or drank today. Due to this, it's best that she sees a vet today. Whenever a dog has been vomiting for longer than 24 hours, a vet visit is always recommended. She could be suffering from a severe GI illness, parvovirus if she isn't fully vaccinated, could have a foreign body, may have eaten something rotten, or could have pancreatitis. I would take her into a vet immediately to have the cause of her vomiting diagnosed so she can be treated. Good luck!

My Pet kookie is doing vomating and she doesn 't eat anything, you can tell me what to do.
Unfortunately, those are very general signs of illness that can be a part of a lot of different issues. Parasites, illness, obstructions, infections, etc can all be potential causes behind vomiting and refusal to eat. If she's only vomited once or twice, you can try a bland meal of boiled rice and chicken to try and settle her stomach, however if she keeps vomiting, is refusing all food, is very lethargic, or seems painful or in distress, it is best to seek veterinary care ASAP.

Hi there. I am sorry to hear that Chloe is not feeling well. The lethargy, shaking or trembling, being withdrawn, and hanging her head down certainly can indicate that she is in pain or discomfort somewhere. Not eating or drinking can also by a sign of pain or that there is a problem with her intestinal tract or other systems in her body. All of these signs do not point to one specific problem, however, they do tell us that Chloe is definitely ill. A good physical exam and most likely some tests from Chloe's veterinarian will help sort out the problem for her and hopefully get her feeling better soon. Best of luck to Chloe!
