Why is my old dog's belly swollen, drinking lots, and bloody stools?

My 11 year old yorkie male dog has a very swollen belly he is drinking a lot and eating a lot always after food , he has loose stools sometimes and also blood in his stools sometimes he has been like it a couple of months is it wise to have him put down is it serios. It could be something serious like heart disease or even cancer causing Cyrus's symptoms, but without seeing him in person, I can't say for certain. Before considering putting him down, I'd have him seen by a vet for this issue to see if it's something that may be able to be treated. I'd have him seen by a vet in the morning. Best of luck.
