My spayed dog has a lump near her spine and swollen glands. Is it serious?

Pet's info: Dog | Staffordshire Bull Terrier | Female | spayed | 16 lbs

My female spayed dog has a boney mass just off her spine I’ve also found swollen glands I her chest and behind her ear she’s eating drinking and peeing and pooping as normal and doesn’t seem unwell

I'm concerned this mass could be cancerous and the swollen glands could be in response to that. You need to have Roxie seen by a vet for this first thing in the morning to get this checked out. Best of luck.

    This is probably the mammary gland and the fat underneath, especially if she is completely fine and there are no other signs. Enlarged lymph nodes (inguinal) may be a possible differential as well. Unfortunately in this case a physical examination would be essential to determine more precisely the underlying cause. I would recommend a vet check up.
