Do not give Bailey a raw diet. There is no proof these are beneficial for dogs and are often imbalanced nutritionally. In addition, there is a risk she could get sick from E. coli and Salmonella, and so can you. You'd be hard pressed to find any vet who would recommend a raw diet. I'd give her canned food. I hope this helps!

Raw food can sometimes carry pathogens that can make your dog sick, so if you are feeding a raw diet be sure to get it from a reputable source. Otherwise, feeding a commercial diet is usually safer and better nutritionally balanced. If she isn't interested in eating it, you can add a little low-sodium plain chicken broth to her kibble to help make it more enticing. If she is acting ill and isn't vaccinated, a vet visit to rule out any health issues such as parvo or other viruses is a good idea. It is also a good idea to get her caught up on all vaccines to avoid contracting illnesses.
