Pet's info: Dog | Chihuahua | Male | neutered | 12 years and 5 months old | 5 lbs
My 12 year old chihuahua just started having problems standing up, especially when he shakes. He keeps tilting his head to one side, and his eyes themselves are stable, but he keeps half-blinking, which is not normal for him. His appetite is still good, has good energy, but almost seems frustrated he can't run around like he wants to. We took him to the vet, but they gave about 10 possible answers, and said theyd give him treatment for the easiest one and work their way up.

That is typical to do with diagnosing, you start with the easiest answer and go from there. This is because it usually is the easiest answer, and you want to rule out those first before doing the more expensive tests. I would be concerned that in a dog Peanut's age, it could be something serious like a brain tumor causing his symptoms. I'm not sure what other possible diagnoses they gave you, but speak to his vet with your concerns and to see what other tests can be done. Best of luck.
