There could be a number of reasons why Maddyson isn't eating including systemic illness, infection, injury, or even a pyometra. Without seeing her in person, I cannot make a diagnosis. Please have her seen by a vet today.

I would be concerned that Queen isn't eating because she has a medical illness. Anorexia is a very general sign of illness in dogs, and can be caused by systemic illness, infection, inflammation, or injury. I would have her seen by a vet as soon as possible for a health check. The vet can diagnose what is causing her to not eat and can discuss treatment plans with you for her.

Thank you for submitting your question regarding Mini. I recommend that she sees a veterinarian today. I am worried that she is not eating. This will rapidly lead to dehydration in a small dog. The veterinarian will examine her and determine what may be the cause of her symptoms. She could be painful or be experiencing nausea. From there, treatment and diagnostics can be discussed. My female dog babygirl throwing up yelleow and she hasn't eaten in 2 days
Poor Babygirl! I see that she isn't spayed. One of the causes of her symptoms could be a pyometra, which is an infection of the uterus. This is fatal without treatment. It could also be she has a GI illness, may have eaten something rotten, could have a foreign body, or pancreatitis. Because she hasn't eaten in two days, is vomiting, and I can't rule out a pyometra without seeing her in person, I would take her into a vet immediately. Best of luck.

The first thing to do is get her in to see the vet to find out if there is some kind of underlying illness that is causing her to lose her appetite. She may have an allergy, some kind of painful condition that makes her not want to eat, a metabolic disorder, there are any number of possibilities. I recommend getting her checked by your vet as soon as possible for an exam and labwork,even x-rays if the other tests are inconclusive. Based on these results your vet will be better able to tell you what's going on and how best to treat it.

Unfortunately, these are very general symptoms having multiple causes. A physical exam would be needed to diagnose the underlying cause. If she is feverish or painful, have her seen at the nearest veterinary ER tonight. Given her age, a pyometra (uterine infection) is unlikely, but should be ruled out anyway since it can become an emergency. You can try warming her food slightly or mixing in a teaspoon of baby food to stimulate the appetite. If she is behaving normally otherwise, you may be able to have her seen by your veterinarian in the morning.

Hi there! I'm so sorry poppy isn't feeling well. Given her signs, and that she isn't spayed, she does run the risk of having a pyometra, which is an infection of the uterus. This can become very, very serious if left untreated, so I would have her examined by your veterinarian right away. Aside from the above, which would be at the top of my list until proven otherwise, Poppy is 7 years old. This makes her a senior dog. She should have blood tests to check not only for a pyometra, but for other illnesses such as diabetes, or kidney disease, for example, that may cause her decreased appetite. Good luck!

This may not be normal, and a sudden decrease in appetite can be one of the first signs a dog is sick. Keep a close eye on Patsy, and if she is still acting this way in the morning, have her seen by a vet.

I would recommend a vet visit for Maddie. She may have a foreign body lodged in her mouth or there are several disease processes that make it painful for dogs to open their mouth. Because she sounds pretty uncomfortable from your description I would consider getting her evaluated today. Good luck and hope she's better soon.

It sounds like Millie is in pain. Please have her seen by a veterinarian immediately so they can assess her. Your vet may want to run diagnostic testing such as blood work to look for signs of infection (such as pancreatitis, which can cause diarrhea) or imaging such as x-rays to look for signs of injury.
