My dog's eye looks red and watery. Is it an infection or allergy?

Pet's info: Dog | Chihuahua | Male | unneutered | 2 years and 9 months old | 13 lbs

Hi, Dr.Strydom, DVM, should I worry about it being infected, this vet is the only vet that is trust worthy in my town? What seems to be the problem with his eye? Thank you!

Without examining him myself there is absolutely no way for me to tell you what is wrong with the eye. It could be allergy related, a infection, a scratch on the cornea, or any number of other issues. I'm sorry I cannot give you an exact diagnosis.
