My 5month old puppy has thrown up twice- but he re ate some of the previous vomit before we could get to it to clear it. He’s drunk a lot of water since, almost 3 bowls full and now is panting heavily... is this normal? Thanks

It sounds like Milo is still nauseous. Common causes of vomiting in a puppy include dietary intolerance or indiscretion, food allergy, intestinal parasites, GI blockage, gastroenteritis, bacterial or viral infection, IBD, pancreatitis, among others. You can remove food and offer small amounts of water every hour for the next 12 hours. Then offer small amounts of his normal food, or boiled chicken breast and cooked white rice. If the vomiting continues or other symptoms develop, you should call your vet for further advice.
