Thank you for submitting your question regarding Eclipse. I recommend that she sees a veterinarian. Bring a fresh fecal sample to your appointment if possible. Testing may need to be done. Based on these results, treatment can be started to stop the diarrhea. She will also likely need to have her hind end shaved to help clean her. I hope this information helps!

Hi there and thank you for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach to address your concern. Diarrhea can be caused by multiple problems. If she is otherwise healthy but experiencing diarrhea, I would recommend having her stool tested for intestinal parasites. If you bring a sample to the veterinarian they can test the sample and let you know if any specific treatment is required. I would also consider switching the cat food you are feeding to something completely new that she has not had before and trial this for at least 4 weeks. I hope this helps! Please let me know if you have any other questions or concerns and I would be more than happy to help you further and I would be more than happy to help you further.
