Pet's info: Cat | Domestic Shorthair | Female | unspayed | 4 lbs
I have a 6 mth old cat who has had diarrhea for a few weeks now. She is perfectly fine otherwise, eating and drinking well, playing with her sister and acts like nothing is wrong. I had tried sanitizing the food and water bowls and the litter box. She's on the same food she has eaten since weening. She has no visible worms in her stool. Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Hello. Just because you do not visibly see worms in the stool does not mean there are no intestinal parasites. Sometimes your veterinarian can find them under the microscope, sometimes a stool sample will need to be submitted to a lab for advanced testing. In the meantime, I would start Itzy on a good probiotic. Sometimes this can really turn around an unhealthy gut. The two I recommend are Purina's FortiFlora & Nutramax's Proviable. Both are available at most pet retailers as well as online. Hope this helps & thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach.
