hi. my cat has this black thing under his skin. i think it's a fungus so i put coconut oil on it. he's itching and it's balding. do you have any idea what it is and what can i do to heal it? Pet's info: Cat | British Shorthair | Male | unneutered | 5 years and 11 months old

Ringworm is a fungal infection, but it typically presents as scabs and hair loss. If this is the case, an antifungal medication is needed.
