Why is my dog's poop black? Is it serious and what should I do?

Pet's info: Dog | Golden Retriever | Male | 1 year and 5 months old

I have golden retriever dog . Day before yesterday's when it do potty it's potty is black colour, so please suggest any medicine.

Black stools are caused by either something they ate or bleeding in the stomach or upper GI tract. I would recommend having Bruno examined by a vet, as bleeding could be serious and fatal if untreated.

    Yes, it is the same in puppies, it usually indicates bleeding from the gastrointestinal tract, it is more common in dogs than humans but it needs to be treated nonetheless. you will need to take Murray to the vet ASAP, if the vet thinks it's a simple gastrointestinal infection he will need an antibiotic course and a special food for a few days in order to get better.
