Hi my 9yr old female cat has been coughing or chocking gaging but not coughing anything up it's been going on for about a month one or two times a day I'm scared have no money to pay for vet is she ok

Hi, and thanks for your question. This sign could be compatible with an upper respiratory tract inflammation/infection or possibly to a tracheitis/bronchitis (inflammatory, allergic, infective). A clinical examination at your local veterinarian is essential to confirm these clinical suspicions and treat appropriately. Antibiotics may be needed.
