Have your dog seen by a vet. Your dog could have an eye infection or may have injury his eye. Any eye problem needs to be checked out by a vet promptly as leaving it untreated can lead to vision loss.

Hello, I am concerned that her drooping eye may be a sign of either infection or nerve damage. I would recommend taking Nikki to see her veterinarian when possible this week to be evaluated. I hope this helps. Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach.

A sudden onset of droopiness to the eye could signify an infection or a neurological problem. I recommend to play it safe and have Macy examined by the veterinarian. Make sure Macy cannot rub at the eye because this could make it worse. she may need to wear an elizabethan collar. Please feel free to post any additional questions.
