Have your dog seen by a vet. Your dog could have an eye infection or may have injury his eye. Any eye problem needs to be checked out by a vet promptly as leaving it untreated can lead to vision loss.

His eye looks a little swollen, and it could be from an injury to the eye or an eye infection. You need to take him into a vet for this promptly, as leaving it untreated can lead to vision loss. My dog has some problem with his eye, he is not able to open his eye
Rocky could have injured his eye or has a severe eye infection. Any eye problem needs to be checked out by a vet promptly as leaving it untreated can lead to vision loss. I'd take him into a vet today.

This can be a sign of an eye infection. it can affect both the eye itself and the eyelids around it. You can keep the eye clean with saline eye wash. They typically need antibiotics and medications safe for the eye to place topically to help. Your vet can make sure there are no scratches on the cornea and provide the best medicine to clear it.

My Dog Won't Keep His Left Eye Open, Should I Worry?
Poor pup! If he's keeping the eye closed or if the [eye is red](https://www.petcoach.co/article/why-are-my-dogs-eyes-red) and there's discharge coming from it, it's likely that he either has an [eye infection](https://www.petcoach.co/dog/condition/conjunctivitis/) or an injury of some kind to the eye, such as a corneal scratch or ulcer. I would recommend having him examined by a vet or [veterinary ophthalmologist](https://www.acvo.org/) as soon as you can, since he will may prescription eye drops to treat the problem. Eyes are delicate, so the sooner he gets an exam and proper medication, the better - some problems can cause permanent damage or vision loss if they aren't treated promptly.

Eye problems are always very concerning and Pup Pup will need to be examined by a veterinarian ASAP. Corneal ulcers and injuries can cause loss of vision, are painful and can be caused even by crusty eye lids scraping on the eye ball. The fact that the eye is swollen and the the lower lid is drooping does point to a more serious problem. Please take her to an emergency vet today.

Poor Benny! The redness and drooping of his eye could be due to an eye infection, injury to his eye, or allergies. The eye is such a delicate and important structure that any problem with it is an emergency. That's because leaving it untreated can lead to vision loss. My pug is having a lot of difficulty opening his eye
Hi there and thank you for using pet coach to address your concern. I would recommend having the I examined by a veterinarian so that further testing can be done to rule out possible causes. There could be trauma to the eye itself or an infection. In order to rule these out I would suggest having the vet take a look at the eye. For trauma to the surface of the eye, a simple stain test is performed to see if there is any retention of the stain on any area of the surface of the eye. Hi! My dog was hot on the eye 4 days ago and it swells for two days. Now i noticed that his eye is squinting(ocular trauma). Is this treatable? Does his eye will go back to its normal condition?
It can be treated, but your dog needs to see a vet immediately. Any problem with the eye should be considered an emergency because leaving it untreated can lead to vision loss. The only way to know for sure if his eye can be treated is to have him seen by a vet now, please take him into one right away.

Look like she can’t open her eye
If she will allow, look for any redness or discharge. Ideally, she should be physically examined by your veterinarian to diagnose infection or corneal injury. Place an e-collar (cone) on her to prevent pawing or rubbing until she sees the vet.
